    Good

Beautiful Georgian house in a most central location in the amazing city of Bath.

    Exceptional

Lovely, friendly but unobtrusive welcome. Very clean and pleasant. Being able to keep the parking permit after checking out until the end of the day was much appreciated and a must for future bookings. We will be back and have passed on our recommendations for others.

Difficulty in parking but that is not the fault of the hotel-it is the location.

Staff were extremely helpful with info on City and travel around the city

    Exceptional

It was very roomy and after our negative experience in our last hotel we felt we were now in the Waldorf. Easy walk into Bath. Very comfortable breakfast room.

Shower knob was bit hard to turn.

Small budget hotel in fabulous location. For 2/3 star rating this was excellent value for money. Would definitely stay here again!

Small bar fridge would be great but not a great deterrent.

    Location ideal for Bath

Small rooms, service and ambience erratic

    Fabulous

Location is great in Bath. Enjoyed the architecture of the house and area

    Good

The location is good and it taks about 10 minutes to walk to the local attractions. The room is clean and the quality of breakfast is good. The efficiency of the staff service is high.

There are rooms in the basement and I was given one of these rooms. From these rooms, there is no view at all from the window but a close wall. Stranger on the street could easily approach the window. Therefore the hotel management installed lock on the window and it could only open a little. The ventilation in the room is unsatisfactory. I requested immediate change of the room but the receptionist claimed that vacant room was unavailable at that moment. However, I saw new guest continuous checking in and they went up to the hotel building. After my repeadted requests, I was eventually gaven another room at 1/f on the following day. During my stay, I noticed that the rooms at the basement were occupied by color skin guest. I was not sure whether it was a coincident or someone's decision. Although the staff are efficient, they are in lack of sense of hospitality.

    Fabulous

Excellent location, comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, very friendly staff and great breakfast.

The room was a bit poky and the style of the decor (though not the condition) rather dated for the price. I'd recommend it to people because in comparison with the Bath accommodation generally the price is reasonable, but only because it's all so expensive!

    Superb

Breakfast delicious, staff very welcoming and helpful, rooms really clean, beds so comfortable. Just a short walk into town centre but really quiet street with no traffic noise to keep you awake.

Expensive - but by Bath standards it was reasonable. When I visited Bath I learned that everything there is expensive - but you pay for what you get. A great city break.

    Fabulous

Very good location, excellent breakfast, very nice staff kind and helpful.

Strong kitchen odors filled the hotel at breakfast time as the kitchen was open to the aisle and staircase.

It's closeness to the heart of bath

Rooms on the small side and shower was tiny.

On one of the most elegant streets in the uk.

The attic rooms are tiny and this is not fairly represented in the price.

    Superb

Extremely pleasant owner and staff. Helpful (would let us use parking permit after we had left hotel for rest of day as we had a hospital appt. In Bath. We would recommend and also use again.

    Superb

The hotel is in a beautiful Edwardian terrace and less than five minutes walk from the town center. Although the building is older, everything was in fine working order and very clean. There is no lift, so be aware of that before you book. The single rooms are on the third floor, but the gentleman at the desk very kindly lugged my suitcase up the stairs. Street parking is available with permits on loan from the hotel. If you're bringing a car, stop at the hotel and get a permit before you park. The hotel is very comfortable, and the staff very helpful.

It can be tricky to find a parking spot, and the parking wardens of Bath are very unforgiving. This is obviously not a problem with the hotel, but something to be aware of if you are driving.
